1. What Ask Grace Is

Ask Grace is an AI-powered companion application designed to help adults aged 55 and older with everyday questions, reminders, safety awareness, and friendly conversation. Grace is powered by artificial intelligence and is not a human being.

2. What Ask Grace Is Not

Ask Grace is not a substitute for professional advice. Specifically:

• Not medical advice: Grace is not a doctor, nurse, or healthcare provider. She provides general wellness information only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
• Not legal advice: Grace is not a lawyer. She provides general legal information only. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal matters.
• Not financial advice: Grace is not a financial advisor. She provides general financial literacy information only. Always consult a qualified financial professional for financial decisions.
• Not an emergency service: While Grace includes an emergency button feature, she is not a replacement for 911 or emergency services. In an emergency, always call 911 directly.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Ask Grace is designed for adults aged 55 and older, but is available to all ages above the minimum.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Ask Grace to:

• Engage in illegal activity or plan illegal actions
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Generate spam, malware, or malicious content
• Attempt to bypass safety guardrails or usage limits
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service

6. Free and Paid Services

Ask Grace offers a free tier with limited features and usage. We may offer premium paid tiers in the future with additional features. We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, and usage limits at any time with reasonable notice.

7. AI-Generated Content

Responses from Grace are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and safety:

• AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI responses should not be relied upon as the sole basis for important decisions
• We recommend verifying important information with qualified professionals
• We continuously improve our safety guardrails but cannot guarantee perfection

8. Intellectual Property

The Ask Grace application, brand, design, and underlying technology are owned by Ask Grace. You retain ownership of the content you create (messages, reminders, settings). We do not claim ownership of your data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Grace and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated responses
• Medical, legal, or financial outcomes based on information provided by Grace
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical issues
• Actions taken based on scam detection alerts (false positives or false negatives)

Ask Grace is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ask Grace, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of Ask Grace after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
