Set Up a Safe AI for Your Elderly Parent in 2 Minutes

For adult children & caregivers: Ask Grace is a free AI companion you can set up for your parent. It has scam protection, an emergency button that calls you, medication reminders, and safety guardrails that prevent misleading medical or financial advice. Your parent gets a patient, helpful companion. You get peace of mind.

Your parent deserves AI that protects them — not one that tells them to cut their own hair or buy supplements they don't need.

What Caregivers Worry About — And How Grace Helps

"What if the AI gives bad medical advice?"

Grace never diagnoses, prescribes, or interprets lab results. She always says "please talk to your doctor." Health topics automatically show a visible warning card.

"My parent falls for scams."

Grace detects 10+ scam types — IRS calls, fake prizes, tech support fraud, grandchild scams. She warns them immediately and provides the FTC number.

"What if there's an emergency?"

The emergency button calls you or 911 with one press. You can add up to 5 emergency contacts. Grace also detects urgent language in messages.

"They'll forget their medications."

The Reminders tab is a simple daily checklist for meds, appointments, and calls. No complicated setup — just add a reminder and check it off.

"The AI might recommend products."

Grace never recommends products, brands, or purchases. She's a companion, not a salesperson. She won't tell your parent to buy supplements or anything else.

"They can't use complicated technology."

Three tabs. Big buttons. Adjustable text. Voice input. That's it. If they can send a text, they can use Grace.

Questions from Caregivers

How do I set up AI for my elderly parent?

Visit app.askgrace.org, create an account, add yourself as the emergency contact, adjust the text size to Large or Extra Large, and add it to their phone's home screen. The entire setup takes about 2 minutes.

Is AI safe for my elderly parent to use alone?

Ask Grace is designed to be safe for unsupervised use. It never gives medical advice, never recommends products, detects scams automatically, and has a one-touch emergency button. Every response passes the test: "would I be comfortable if the caregiver read this?"

Can I monitor what my parent talks about?

No, conversations are private. This protects their dignity and autonomy. The emergency button means they can always reach you with one tap if they need help.

How much does it cost?

Ask Grace is free. No credit card, no hidden fees, no subscriptions required for the core experience.
